Diamond Color

Diamond color ranges from colorless to yellow with slight tones of yellow or brownish tint, up to the very rare pinks, blues and greens... known as “fancies.” The only means of determining the true color of a diamond is by using a set of Master Diamonds certified by the American Gem Society.

We also use the world’s best diamond colorimeter to insure the accuracy of the diamond’s color grade. Staying on the cutting edge of technology is just one of the ways we provide you with top-notch service.

Husar's Certified Color Master Diamonds

To grade a diamond for color, you should view it from the side and compare it to the Master Diamonds certified by the American Gem Society. These are Husar’s Certified Color Master Diamonds, which we use to individually grade each diamond’s color before selling it.

We set ourselves apart from many other jewelers because we have both the experience and the equipment to distinguish among a diamond’s subtle color variations — so we can confidently assure you of a diamond’s value. We’ll show you our Certified Color Master Diamonds under color-corrected lights. We’ll also grade your diamond for color and give you a certified computer print out of your diamond’s exact color.
