Extraordinary customer service is a Husar tradition.
Father, daughter and son stand behind the Husar brand.
We realize that when you buy a piece of jewelry, you’re buying a memory for a loved one … a future family heirloom. At Husar’s House of Fine Diamonds, a member
of the Husar family hand selects each piece of jewelry and giftware in our showroom — so you’re buying 58 years of style, quality and service.
Marvin J. Husar, C.G.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic, Marv Husar took his passion for jewelry and his skill at watch making and turned them into a legacy. Fascinated
by the science of gemology, Marv was a diligent student. He passed a comprehensive test to achieve a graduate gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of
America (GIA). Later, he received the advanced certified gemologist designation from the American Gem Society, which he maintains through ongoing study and annual
recertification exams.
After working for several different Wisconsin jewelers, Marv purchased a 200-square-foot jewelry store in West Bend in 1951. He maintained his commitment to his
community and remained in downtown West Bend throughout four moves and seven renovations. Today, Husar’s House of Fine Diamonds is the largest independent jewelry
store in Wisconsin.
Mary Husar Martin, R.J.
Mary pursued special education as a potential career during her college years and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. She decided to join her
father’s business in 1981 and now leads the jewelry manufacturing and wholesale operations.
Committed to community service, Mary is past president of the Wisconsin Jewelers Association and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. Mary also serves
on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Washington County, the Washington County EDC, and the West Bend Downtown Association. She also served on a committee
that successfully proposed bringing the “Main Street” program to West Bend.
Michael Husar
Mike also graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and joined the family business in 1984 … leading the corporate gifts and promotional program. Mike
strongly believes in doing everything possible to satisfy customers and recognizes that satisfied customers often become repeat customers.
Mike lends his knowledge and skill to West Bend’s Greater Downtown Alliance. He understands the vital role a pleasant environment plays in encouraging shoppers
to visit the downtown commercial district. Drawing on his marketing and advertising expertise, he’s helping implement recommendations for economic development —
with a focus on existing buildings.
